BEGINNERS BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for Beginners covers all the basics that are
required to build a solid foundation for all the more advanced
techniques in BJJ.
Working mainly on “position over submission”, you
will be taught how to escape and move around your opponent in
a free flowing motion that does not require vast amounts of strength.
This is an ideal place to start to condition your body, get a
base level of fitness and learn how the Jiu Jitsu game works.
All the Beginner classes are run by Adam Metcalf and there are
usually a few Blue Belts that are there to help as well. With
classes running during the day as well as the evening, there
are plenty of times to get yourself up to speed and enter the
Intermediate level classes.
Please note: Although a uniform is not compulsory to start,
you will need to purchase one after your first couple of initial
classes.
