Prices and Startup
Getting started at The Academy is easy. Simply phone and book your place in the class that your child would like to attend.
To make it easy to get started, we have an Introduction Class Price which is 50% off the normal class fee.
What we need to bring to class and what we need to wear.
If you are attending a Tiny Tigers, Young Jedi or a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class you will need to wear your Gi and Belt. If you do not have a Gi a pair of shorts and a BLACK or WHITE T-shirt will do for your first month of training. Gis and rank shirts can be purchased from reception.
If you are attending a Muay Thai class you must wear Thai shorts and Rank shirt. If you do not have Thai shorts you can wear a pair of shorts and if you do not have a Rank shirt a BLACK or WHITE T-shirt will do for your first month of training. Thai shorts and Rank shirts can be purchased from reception.
Mouth guards are recommended and should be kept in your training bag so that they can be used when needed.
Nail tape. If you have earrings and do not wish to take them out you will need to bring nail tape with you so your earrings can be tapped.
Drink bottles are highly recommended you will get very thirsty while training.
If you have long hair make sure your hair is tied back and that you have extra hair ties just in case.
If you wish to bring your own training gear (boxing gloves, focus mitts, skipping ropes etc) you may but, be sure to write your name on all your training gear. All training gear can be purchased from reception.
