New Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt for TEAM AMMA.
Kurt Normington runs a Kempo Jiu Jitsu school in Bunbury. After winning his division at the 2010 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu State Titles, he was awarded his Blue Belt at The Academy of Mixed Martial Arts by Black Belt, Adam Metcalf.
Kurt is taking a team to compete at 'The Gathering' in Melbourne which is our Machado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Titles.
Kurt's team also did very well at the 2010 State Titles with the placings listed below:
The Team AMMA Bunbury Guys who placed at the State Titles were:
· James Lloyd 14yrs Boy Silver
· Marc Grassie 12yrs Boy Silver
· Caleb Docherty 10yrs Boy Bronze
We had Seven Competitors and went home with 4 medals including myself. Everyone was thrilled and the parents were all proud.
