Last year was a massive year for our team @ AMMA GYM. This year is going to be no different....
Some highlights of 2009 were:
Mary Gonzales having her first fight in Muay Thai and knocking her opponent out in about 8 seconds! Very Impressive
Simon Paiker landed a Flying Armbar in the last 10 seconds of his fight in the BJJ State Titles
Nathan Frost and Steve Grehan being awarded their first tip on their Brown Belts in BJJ
Adam Metcalf being awarded his FIRST Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu...
plus many many more.
To Start off 2010 we have one of the best BJJ coaches and fighters in the world heading to AMMA GYM 24th of Jan for a BJJ seminar. Robert Drysdale will be running a seminar doing both Gi and No-Gi on Sunday. Places are very limited and need to be booked asap!

John Will (Australia's first BJJ Black Belt) is heading over for a BJJ seminar on the 7th of Feb to run a seminar. John always delivers the latest techniques and concepts and is not to be missed. The seminar runs on a Sunday for about 2 hours. It will cost $66.00 and you need to book your place at reception ASAP
Feb 20, Melben Alejaga will be fighting for a Muay Thai Title that he already has (well no one has been able to take it off him anyway).
Feb 27 Muay Thai fighters Paul Nguyen, Hayden Sta Maria and Roger Abalie will be fighting in Muay Thai, which will be shown on FOXTEL!
BJJ Gradings will be run in the FIRST 2 weeks of FEB, the dates will be announced shortly (for both Adults and Kids).
Shooto Class C MMA will be running Mid to Late FEB or early March.... more info as this comes to hand...
The first No Gi BJJ competition will be held in March, more info on this shortly too...
